"Web Tools For Success"
Seminar to be held at Latin Chamber of Commerce
Today, three
companies,
Watchman Data Services,
Dempsey Graphics
and Executive
Translations teamed up with the Las
Vegas Latin Chamber of Commerce and announced an offering of
free educational seminars entitled, "Web Tools for Success".
These seminars will be held at the Chamber's 13th Street
location for two days in June. The free offering grew out of
ideas generated in discussions between Paul Quiroz of the Latin
Chamber and Watchman Data Services. Said Omar Sheikh,
Managing Partner:
"We joined the Chamber of Commerce in March of this year. While
having lengthy discussions with its members, we found many
wanted an internet presence but were apprehensive and unsure about how to
get started. So we contacted the LCC and began a dialogue. The
next thing we knew, we had a team built to put on a seminar."
There
will be two events held in June: Thursday June 18 at 6 PM and
Saturday June 20 at 10AM. Each event is free and open to the
general public, but the first seminars will be presented in
Spanish as a service to the Latino Community and Chamber
members.
The Web-Tools team consists of
Watchman Data Services, a local computer company, Dempsey
Graphics, a graphics and web design company and Executive
Translations, a Spanish Translation company. All companies are
located in Clark County.
